Choosing between a Cappadocia sunset ATV tour and a sunrise ride? Both end with great light over the valleys, but they feel different. Here is how they compare.
Sunset ATV tour
The sunset tour lasts about 2 hours and costs €30 per ATV. You ride in the late afternoon and finish at a viewpoint as the sun goes down. It is our most popular tour, so book at least a day before. Read more on our sunset quad bike tour page.
Sunrise ATV tour
The sunrise tour costs €50 per ATV. You start early in the morning and ride while the sky turns light. On days when the balloons fly, you can see them rise over the valleys from your ATV.

Start times change with the season. We confirm the exact time when you book.
Rules to know before you ride
- The rider needs a valid car or motorcycle driving licence.
- Children aged 8 and over can ride as passengers behind a parent. Children under 8 cannot join.
- Two people can share one ATV, and the price is per ATV.
- Free hotel pick-up and drop-off for hotels in Göreme. Transfers from other towns cost extra.
- We provide a helmet. In the rain you get a free raincoat. Dust masks cost extra.
- All rides are guided on a set route. Renting an ATV and riding alone is not allowed.

Is the sunset tour cold in winter?
Yes, evenings are cold in winter. Bring warm layers and gloves.
